Warning concerning MH broth for Thermofisher cefiderocol MIC panels.
Thermofisher/Sensititre have issue a warning against a malfunctioning broth for Sensititre panels containing cefiderocol resulting in too low cefiderocol MIC-values.
The recommendation from the manufacturer is to ignore cefiderocol results unless you can confirm with the manufacturer that the warning does not concern the material used in your laboratory.
The EUCAST recommendation is to report the malfunction to Thermofisher and to trust the disk diffusion test. Results outside the ATU are very robust.
