EUCAST Subcommittees
EUCAST subcommittees are set up to deal with specific issues or areas requiting particular expertise. Consultations and decisions on subcommittee proposals are made through the EUCAST Steering Committee and follows the structure of all other consultations and decisions.
When subcommittees have fulfilled their remit they are disbanded but may be re-established if the need arises.

Subcommittee on Anaerobe Susceptibility Testing (re-established 2019). Chairperson is Robin Howe (Cardiff, UK). A review of current breakpoints for anaerobe bacteria and the development of a disk diffusion test are ongoing.
