Breakpoints for Rapid AST

Breakpoints validated for EUCAST short incubation disk diffusion directly from positive blood culture bottles.

For interpretation of rapid AST directly from blood culture bottles, reading and interpreting inhibition zones after 4 hours, 6 hours, 8 hours and 16-20 hours, always use the RAST Breakpoint Tables (below). Do not use EUCAST standard breakpoint tables.
