Colistin MIC testing - the EUCAST warning extended
The Warning against methods used for colistin MIC testing has been extended following a message from Bruker Daltonics against three lots of their UMIC Colistin MIC device. Since yesterday we have been informed by the producer that the failures were with three specific lots (240410COL, 240418COL, 240506COL), and that more recent lots are not affected. EUCAST has not investigated the failing lots, nor the more recent lots.
